PRO TIPS

  • NEXT / SKIP - When playing the release workout video, either Full Workout or Music Version, the button will skip to the next line item (i.e. the next media), not the next track in the case of a video. The best way to scroll ahead is to either use your finger to scroll at the bottom of the screen or use the arrows to jump ahead or back 15 seconds. Next chapter/track (in the video) buttons are in development.
  • DOWNLOAD - The Download feature is a great way to view the release without interruption. When you download a video or entire release to your device, please note that the download is only available on that specific device. When switching to a different device, like from your phone to your tablet, the downloads will not automatically be available on your tablet even if you had previously downloaded them to your phone. You can download your releases to both devices, but this is not automatic.
  • OFFLINE DOWNLOAD - In the tutorial video, How to Download Videos Offline Access, we demonstrated how to move an entire releaes collection, as well as individual items (such as the full workout video), to offline access. Keep in mind that the entire colletion (includes full workout video, music version video, education video, and program notes) takes up approimately 3 GB of space. All of these resources are always accessible within the app whenever you are connected to wi-fi, so you do not necessarily need to download and keep the collection in the Downloads section of your library. We recommend downloading the workout video (full or music version) while you are learning the programming, and then deleting the video from the Downloads section of you library when you are finished working with it, especially if you need to free up space. The video will always be available in the app if you need to access it again in the future.

You can access MOSSA GO through a web browser, a smartphone or tablet using the MOSSA GO app, Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV.
    3. HOW DO I GET MY MUSIC?
You will receive a separate email from MOSSA to get an access code to download your music from mossamusic.net. You will be able to upload your music into iTunes or Google Play Music. NOTE: You will see the music on MOSSA GO, but it is unstable on the app; the app is in development to fix this bug. Therefore, you should only use music downloaded from mossamusic.net.
    4. CAN I CREATE A PLAYLIST IN THE APP FOR MY MUSIC?
      Once development is complete, yes.
    5. HOW MUCH SPACE DO I NEED ON MY SMARTPHONE TO USE THE APP?
The mobile app takes up approximately 39 MB of space. When you download the release to the MOSSA GO app on your device, one 60-minute workout (Program Notes, Music, Video, and Education) takes up approximately 3gb of space.
    6. WILL I NEED WI-FI AT MY FACILITY OR WILL I HAVE TO USE MY DATA TO PLAY MY MUSIC WHILE TEACHING?
At this time, you will be downloading music from mossamusic.net to play on your device via iTunes or GooglePlay. So, you will not need Wi-Fi.
    7. HOW WILL I ACCESS MY PROGRAM NOTES?
The Program Notes are available on MOSSA GO. You can download them to your computer from the website and print them if you like. You can also save them from the app to your smartphone for easy reference and/or print.
    8. IS THE PRICE OF THE RELEASE STAYING THE SAME?
The price per release will remain the same at $36 USD. We are excited to launch MOSSA GO to bring instructors their Quarterly Education releases digitally, in a more convenient, more environmentally friendly, and more feature-rich platform. While the costs of the physical product have decreased slightly (no more plastic DVD shells, no printed program notes, and no shipping costs) the overall costs of video production, post-production, and music licensing continue to increase each year. Additionally, the video platform, the new MOSSA GO mobile app (Android and iOS), digital music licensing fees, and recurring bandwidth charges are all additional expenses that we are investing in to ensure that instructors receive their resources (music, programming, and education) through a more convenient delivery system at the same great value.
    9. CAN WE STILL GET PHYSICAL RELEASES?
We do not have plans to create a physical product. In order to keep up with the demands of new technology and the lack of demand and availability of CD players and DVD players, we are investing heavily in MOSSA GO as the sole delivery mechanism for instructor quarterly programming and education.
    10. CAN YOU MIX AND MATCH OLD RELEASES WITH THE NEW ONES IN THE APP?
For the JUL20 release, since you will be downloading music from mossamusic.net, you will be able to mix and match with previous releases. Once music is available on MOSSA GO, you will not be able to mix new music with music from previous releases. You will, however, be able to create playlists from music in the app, which will grow over time.
    11. DOES THE MOSSA GO APP ALLOW US TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC DIRECTLY TO OUR DEVICE TO PLAY ON ITUNES OR GOOGLE PLAY MUSIC WHEN TEACHING A CLASS?
No. For the JUL20 release, you will be downloading music from mossamusic.net to play on iTunes or Google Play Music.
    12. I LOST MY MUSIC CODE OR IT’S NOT WORKING, HOW DO I GET ANOTHER ONE?
Send an email to mossagosupport@mossa.net to get your code or have another one sent.
    13. IF I GO OFF AUTOSHIP FOR A PROGRAM WILL I STILL HAVE ACCESS TO RELEASES I PURCHASED?
If you are no longer on Autoship, you will not be able to access the program resources in your MOSSA GO app. When you re-enroll in Autoship and become active for that program again, the releases that were previously available to you will be on MOSSA GO.
    14. CAN I JUST STREAM THE VIDEO OR MUSIC OR DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD IT TO MY DEVICE?
MOSSA highly recommends that you download to the app to avoid disruption in playback due to poor Wi-Fi or cellular service.
    15. CAN I BURN THE WORKOUTS ONTO A CD/DVD?
No, you will not be able to burn a DVD of the workouts.
    16. HOW MANY DEVICES CAN I HAVE REGISTERED FOR MOSSA GO?
You can have up to 5 devices registered.
    17. WHAT WEB BROWSER DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR VIEWING MOSSA GO?
      Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.
    18. IF WE HAVE QUESTIONS REGARDING MOSSA GO, WHO SHOULD WE EMAIL?
      You can email mossagosupport@mossa.net.
    19. Can you view the Program Notes while also watching the videos on the app?
While you are able to view the Program Notes in the MOSSA GO app, at this time you are unable to play a video and view the Program Notes in the app at the same time. MOSSA recommends you play the video on one device while have the Program Notes open on another device (for example: view Program Notes on your computer browser while watching the video in the app on your tablet or phone). If you print your Program Notes, you can watch the video on any device (browser, tablet, phone) and take notes on your printed copy.
    20. Can I view program resources in Landscape orientation on MOSSA GO?
The MOSSA GO app was built in Portrait mode. When you log in on your tablet or phone, the view is restricted to the Portrait orientation. When you play a video, however, you can rotate your device and the video will adjust to Landscape orientation automatically. If the orientation of the video does not change automatically, make sure your device is not locked on Portrait mode.
    21. On the MOSSA GO app, can it be viewed in both Portrait mode and Landscape mode?
The MOSSA GO app was built in Portrait mode. You will login and select your release to view in Portrait mode, but when playing the video you can turn the device to Landscape and it will automatically fill the screen in Landscape mode.
